I graduated from Stockholm University in 1993 (LL.M.) and have during my 25+ years as legal counsel held a number of different positions as a legal counsel in both the private and public sectors and in various industries, ranging from governmental support of commercialisation of research results to Internet poker. My previous employers include the Swedish Data Authortity, Dun & Bradstreet, Sida, VINNOVA, Predictive Sales, Intrum Justitia and Seamless/Invuo Technologies.

As a consultant I have worked with everything from start-ups to assignments as interim lead of legal and compliance departments. Currently my main occupation is work within the framework of LegalWorks.  

My knowledge and experience of practical application of law in different industries and sectors gives me a broad competence that helps me to bring value to many types of businesses. Besides traditional commercial law anc contracts, the emphasis is often on legal issues in technology intensive businesses such as fintech where data protection and tech specific issues are critical. My focus is always on practical and hands on advice with the goals of the business in mind, regardless of whether the client conducts business or is in the public sector.

After a receiving a degree in criminology at Stockholm University 2003, I have worked at the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (Brå), Stockholm University, Nacka Municipality and STAD (Stockholm prevents alcohol and drug problems, which started in 1995 within the Addiction Center and since 2010 is a program area within CPF, Center for Psychiatric Research).

In 2017 I received my doctorate (Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Karolinska Institutet) and following that held a position as an analyst at the Police Authority, Stockholm Region. Currently I have a position as researcher at the Swedish National Board of Institutional Care.

With my education and experience I am able to engage in different types of research and evaluation projects. My assignments often include hands on work with methodology, data collection, statistical processing and other analysis or compilations and presentations of results.
